Gothic language

It is an East Germanic language which was spoken by Goths (a Germanic folk).

I plan on doing a full post about this language at some point soon, actually, but in short:
It was a language spoken by the Visigoths and Ostrigoths, two Germanic tribes composing the people that may have also been responsible for the runes themselves, and managed to maintain their use in the form of the gothic alphabet, which hilariously shares it's kabalah with the runes and was used to write a funky purple silver and gold kabalistic bible called the Codex Argentus. Which was subsequently torn apart and scattered throughout the mideval world HAHA. These people where essentially the tipping factor in the fall of the Roman Catholic empire.

I would like to note that history books describe the Goths as barbarians who destroyed Rome, yet the truth is the real enemy was within the Empire...
