Goetia Sigils [Sigils of Ancient Gods]

Hello fellow sisters and brothers,

I have some question in my mind about the sigils of our gods. If the sigils of our gods in Goetia goes all the way back in ancient times, how the jews found out that it were sigils of ancient gods? Why it was not kept as secret? What is the historical and theological proof that sigils of our gods is very ancient?
