I attempted to research Goetia. Not the Lesser Key of Solomon, but the Greek school ov magic. Here's the only source I could find:
http://www.molochsorcery.com/new-goetia-by-jks.html

Now, I don't trust this author. But he is correct in the origins ov Goetia, as far as the meaning ov the word. The rest I have no evidence ov one way or the other. It states that goetia was the necromantic form ov magic practiced in ancient Greece; funeral rites, evocation, divination via spirits, etc. Anything to do with the dead and magic.

The old gods are called Goetic Demons because ov the Goetia of Solomon the King, right? (Correct me if I'm wrong about any ov this, please.)

HPS Maxine stated in https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Joy ... ics/179178 that "The prefix “Goe” which is of the Devil [Satan] and GOY." Can anyone explain the 'goe' prefix being ov Satan? In Greek, 'goes' describes a lamentation in funeral rites. In Latin, 'goetia' means black magic.

So the conclusion I've drawn from the limited info I can find is that the Jews stole and distorted the meaning ov the Goetic tradition. Instead ov describing a respectful relationship between the living and the dead, it became synonymous with unwilling evocation, binding, and other such forms ov spiritual abuse. But if this is the case, wouldn't it be disrespectful to refer to the demons with a term derived from xian distortion?

Obviously I'm missing some things here, but I can find no further information, it seems. Does anyone know any more about this? Maybe Mageson666 should do an article on it lol.

Hail Satan!
