go through Father Satan before doing ANYTHING?

i keep on hearing this a lot, and im not entirely sure what this means? maybe im not completely understanding the Joy of Satan site, but i figured this means a ritual to contact Satan and so i looked for something like that in the site and if i were to guess, the thing im looking for is under the Satanic Rites and Celebrations category, Satanic Rituals subsection, and right to Standard Ritual (for the inexperienced, which is me)So i follow what it says for the Standard Ritual and any interaction with demons, goetic or succubi or otherwise, i should be safe?theres also a small dilemma, it says im going to need a chalice and apparently a bell? specifically a silver bell and chalice? yeah, i dont have either of those, is this going to matter? because i think plastic cups or coffee mugs is a no go. i can get black candles easily enough, i can get quality incense, but a silver bell and chalice is going to be hard difficult to find

You obviously have a lot of misconceptions so let me just clear them up right now. 1 I have no fucking idea where you heard this. 2 You can't summon Satan he comes to those he chooses. 3 Demons don't harm people, if you read the JoS site you would know this. 4 props and other shit like that really don't matter in Satanism, a coffee mug is fine if that is the only thing you have. 5 You can't summon a Demon if your not a dedicated Satanist.

Going through Satan means being dedicated to him in the first place!
Secondly ....going through him means you visualise his sigils and ask him to help you with what you want! And what you are looking at is the standard ritual...there is an a lot simpler ritual at the sight for newbies. Really the props like a siliver chalice en candle colour are not a necessitaty if they are not at your disposal. Going threw Satan generally means asking him to help you with something....after DEDICATION  of your soul

You probably misunderstand that. Note that it says that in the Demons section. That's where it says something like "if you don't know about a specific God/Daemon you want to summon it's best to go through Satan". All it simply means is follow the summoning ritual on JoS which actually does that. If you notice the summoning ritual in JoS, all it does is asks Satan to send a specific God, and that's the only safe method of summoning a God, even if its a being you don't know and aren't sure about. Satan won't really send you any negative/harmful being, that's why this way is safe and respectful as well.

This is incorrect. In so much as you aren't summoning Him as you are communicating with Him. Lilith on the other hand is not to be summoned.. Satan perhaps only appears to those He chooses but the entire standard ritual is a way to summon Satan.

The difference between us and xians is that our God answers us and is ready and willing to meet us more than halfway.

As for ritual props I certainly wouldn't use a coffee mug out of respect however the ritual tools are merely symbols of the elements and I have performed many rituals purely in my astral temple with the same success as those performed on my physical altar.

I remember hearing something on an audio sermon by High Priestess Maxine Dietrich about going through Satan to initiate contact with your Guardian Demon.  I can't remember which one it was though.  Ask her.  It didn't extend to more than that though.  Maybe people think it extends further.  I'll try to find it.  The idea of praying to Satan to help you meet your Guardian Demon seems true, but beyond that I'm kind of uncertain myself.  What if you want to initiate contact with another Demon?  Do you go through your Guardian Demon?

Visualize father satans sigil as shining/glowing with blue/demonic energy, his energy, connect with him and feel his presence, feel him, breathe/direct the energy into you, into your aura and chakras, meditate on him, focus on him, his will, his power.
