Facebook already does mass surveillance and mines every information about everything and everyone there is.
What is the situation here and why people are not filling these FEMA camps in the US is simply because, lack of means to analyze the data (advanced computing will 'solve' this), a strong middle class that owns guns (they destroy this) and the fact that some people are still concerned about privacy (As they lived in an age where they could actually have some).
