Hi,

I would like to know if a Glass Ouija Board would pose a problem? I have a design that I want to sandblast onto glass. Can I also include Father Satan's sigils in the initial design? I don't think it would pose a problem. The initial design is to sandblast the letters on the underside of the glass in mirror script.

I just want to find out before I do it. I don't want it to be a disaster and pose a problem to work with.

Hail Father Satan!!!!!!

Why would it pose a problem? Just becareful with the glass for obvious reasons.

To answer that, observe how a Ouija board is supposed to work. What you
want is a smooth surface without a lot of friction, especially
"stiction" (which is friction that drastically increases when the
surfaces are still but is reduced when moving). Obviously, a rough
surface like unsanded wood, rough rock, and the like is a problem.
Also, it needs to be flat. If the board has high and low spots, the
planchet will tend to move there and you will get bad readings. And the
sliders under the planchet need to have low friction--felt is ideal for
that. Rubber is obviously a bad material for that because of the
stiction.

Which leaves plenty of materials for your surface. Glass, provided it's
flat, is just about perfect with only the drawback that you can bust it
if you drop it. Polished wood, cardboard with a smooth and flat
surface, stone that is flat and smooth, and plastic that is flat and
smooth will work fine. You do need to make sure the letters and symbols
are also smooth so the planchet can glide smoothly. Once you take care
of that, go to work on it.
