Getting back into 3D...

After a few years hiatus, I am again doing digital art. I've been thinking about a series based on the mythology of Heracles on His hero quest to the underworld. As you can probably tell, I like dark, somber scenes with lots of mood. If you guys like this I might be motivated to do a series, depicting the Lionskin Wearer on his Hero's Journey.

You could almost turn these into a visual novel or something. With the help of some of the members explaining Heracles and how it relates to the magus opas. It could be a way to promote the JOS. Printed versions could generate some income. Just an idea.

I do the initial work in Blender, on Cycles rendering. Then I import the render into Krita and Fotosketcher to finish. On some I also use ArtRage.

Been listening to a lot of Joseph Campbell lectures these past few days and I had a lucid dream last night. I was going down a winding staircase and suddenly I knew I was dreaming. I continued downward into the dark and felt very excited and positive. I threw this piece together this morning, based on my dream.
