Unfortunately I can believe it, I have had 2 separate accounts suspended by Yahoo Answers although one thing I did find is that appealing the removal via the link given in the email HAS at times had my answer/question reinstated.

The percentage of removed content far outweighs that which is reinstated but many reinstated items went on to become best answer thus the first thing seen by anyone doing a search on closed questions so it pays to do.
