I can tell you what to do, but you probably wont like hearing it.
In my opinion, it's a bad idea to make long-time servitors before one is decently advanced. Heck, I'm pretty advanced and I only have ONE fire elemental that I have lying dormant most of the time. All I do is feed it regularely - it wasn't even on a mission yet. Thinking back I would've waited creating it, since I have to firstly improve myself before I can improve a servitor. I think that once you have all your chakras open, a decently risen kundalini, and no psychological hangups (that's where I'm stuck at the moment), you can start with a servitor. Though even then I would actually recommend fully raising the kundalini first, but thats only my personal opinion.
Now, I definetly don't recommend this, but if you really, REALLY cant live without making a thoughtform now (be honest with yourself), then just make the simplest (ball-shaped) thoughtform possible, program it to be loyal to you (several times), and then make it rest in an object until you call upon it again. After that, feed it daily and always tell it to return into the object after you are done. You can also keep programming loyality to you and full obedience to all your commands into the thoughform every day as you feed it.If you have done this for a decent amount of time, you can try giving it it's first task. Give it a time limit no longer than one day and tell it to go back into the object afterwards. If it was successfull - good. If it failed that's fine, too. This just tells you that you need to feed it a while longer until it's able to do the task.
Lastly, you should give it a long name. I gave my thoughtform a multiple-worded name. I always like to refer to zeref from fairy tail here. [Assuming that his so-called "demons" were thoughtforms in reality (so powerful that they physcially manifested)]He had a whole BOOK written on how to summon one of his thoughtforms. What I mean by this is that you want to
1. Minimize the chance of someone else (accidently or intentionally) summoning your thoughtform
2. Prevent YOURSELF from accidently summoming your thoughtform (by thinking about it). It's easy to accidently think about the name "bob". But it's not as easy to accidently think about the name "Sangamma da zuraye no ianus" (example).I think of it as "disturbing your thoughtforms sleep" if you accidentally think about it's name.
Anyways, that's about as much as I can help you here. I mentioned this in a lot of my posts lately, but there will be an annular eclipse this sunday. I am unaware if it can make your thoughtform more powerful or not if you create it on the time of the eclipse, but it seems reasonable to me.
Good luck.

But I still want to begin something now, that I can improve upon later on. I hate having to destroy servitors, as I consider them to be somewhat "alive."..not like a human or animal, mind you, but they are creations, and came partially from us. maybe it's my old following and understanding of tulpas, but, that's destroying an extension of us.
so that's the idea: make it now, empower it, have it perform its task when its ready..but when i command it. it'd be an off-and-on commanding.
if this doesnt clarify it, let me know.
