I always was honoured by the depth of the HPS Lydia thinking. This is the same situation again.
"Selection of options" is actually a very strong principle towards free will. But it needs serious refinements. But another dimension is missed here. The dimension of ability to influence those so-called selection of options. Let me illustrate with the following examples.
1. If Putin/Trump/any other retard would decide to put a nuke on our heads, our selection of options would be absolutely limited. Of course, their options also are very limited by other factors/people/etc. But still, this by itself shows that our own power is extremely limited.
2. The point above might sound depressing. But do not be depressed over it. Instead, I suggest we understand reality and our own limitations better, so we would have a good fundamental basis to strive further and increase our real power in order to change ourselves, to change the world.
