Well as the title implies I was brought up in a "religious" Christian household, however I am no longer Christian (something my mother refuses to believe). And so, I'm diving into this entirely oblivious to and of everything.

A slight nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated guys

You could also read www.https://templeofzeus.org/LiturgicalTerms.php, an offshoot of the Joy of Satan website. If your mother harasses you or tries to instill fear and guilt into you to get you to submit back to Christianity, the knowledge you get from those two websites will help to debunk Christianity and you won't be tricked by it again.

Some precious advice: don't mention Satan's name or claim that you are a Satanist to obtuse people, generally keep quiet about it, it's for your own good. You can be a Satanist and meditate all you want without ever mentioning it.

Also make sure to Dedicate before meditating because Satan has very real enemies who will harass or attack you mercilessly without Satan's protection which He gives after you Dedicate.

To the original poster: I must say, first off, and I mean this very
sincerely, I am so very glad that you are not a xian (christian) any
longer! christianity is a cancer, a blight on humanity. Not only is it
all based on stolen allegories and outright lies (see:

but it also promotes blind obedience and blind faith, it basically
lauds reliance on an external entity other than yourself, always.

that's in, but trust me, my friend, it is in there! I was never raised
xian, thank the Gods! I do know the bible though, i read it when i was
a kid, just to read it. Never took any stock in it, certainly never
thought it was literal, like these stupid fundamentalist assholes. I
fucking despise christianity, because I look around, and I see how it
corrupts and twists people. Tries to make them hate themselves for
being themselves; like if someone's gay, "Oh, you have to change.
Being homosexual is an offense to god, god wants you to be straight".
Blah blah blah. Makes me sick! christianity steals people's joy, and
it insinuates a false, plastic, lackluster emotion in its place that
people call joy, because they know no better. There's a reason why
Pythia calls her website the "Joy of Satan". This is because
Satan/Enki, humanity's true Father, the one who really made us...he is
joy. I cannot express to you, you who do not know him, the bliss, the
joy and peace that he brings. Satan is the giver of light, life and
true happiness. He provides the keys to true physical immortality, he
gives us the tools and opportunity to become warriors, and to fashion
our own destiny, and manifest our desires. Satan is my Father and my
Lord, I would do absolutely anything for him! He and all of the other
Gods of Elysium (Daemons) are just wonderful! I can't say enough about
them, really, and they are all ineffable. It is my great and fervent
hope that you will come to dedicate, and so get to know them in time.
But for now, it is enough that you have broken the fetters of xianity
