Few questions.

Alright well right after I posed the other topic "Need a little help with a ritual" someone messages me. They started talking to me and it was alright but then he/she said something about after you dedicate yourself to Father Satan that there is an initation or something. I have never seen this on the JoS site and i'm looking everywhere for it. He/she also said that normal candles won't work when it comes to summoning a demon and or guardian demon and you need candles called "Wander Candles" or something. So as of right now i'm confused on what this person was saying and i'm looking on JoS and online and i have found nothing.

Can anyone help clarify this for me? Is there an Initation and if so can someone link it? Also IF there are Wander Candles, can someone tell me where to buy them?

As of right now i have a feeling it was an xian messing with me or something but who knows. Not many people on this forum are really helpfull so I don't know if he/she is an xian or advanced satanist. Anyways would like some info on these. thanks

It's called "dedication" not "initiation". You can find all the particulars on the JoS site. www.joyofsatan.org

On the left is a link in white titled "Dedicate Your Soul to Satan". That page also outlines the ritual used.

As for summoning demons (best to wait until you have done the dedication ritual incidentally), I have never done it because they themselves have always initiated contact & once a relationship was established, I can contact them when I need to via simple telepathy. However there is a section on summoning on the JoS site: on the main page there is a link in white print titled "Demons" which will take you to another page of links. (I suggest you read all these pages as you can.)

Anyway the second link down is entitled "How to Summon the Gods of Hell" which gives you a great deal of info including methods for summoning. There's no mention that I noticed of anything called "wander candles" or anything that sounds like it.

Many things are adaptable to an individual's needs, etc. but the info on the site is designed to work, as is, so don't hesitate to make use of it that way. If someone has done something a little different and that works for them, that's fine, but when we're new it's easier to just stick with the methods and procedures that are on the site.

Unfortunately, even though the groups are monitored/moderated, xian infiltrators do sometimes slip through and try to cause confusion and doubt. Invariably, they're detected sooner or later and banned, but they can cause a few problems, especially for new people. It usually fits the old saying: if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck, it usually is a duck.

the initiation rites are diane vera's doing, she thinks that Satan and the Demons are "evil" so she suggests initiating yourself before dedicating yourself...I find this kind of offensive, because you're basically doing a half-assed dedication ritual.

<td val[/IMG]Like chalchiuhnetezin said, there's no initation ritual. The only time that would ever happen is if you joined a coven that had an initiation ritual. You don't have to worry about that. If you don't have a black candle, you can use a blue one, as black ones are sometimes are hard to get. For summoning Gods, use their candle color. Check out the links that Chalchiuhnetzin gave you.
