Other Enrolling in University

AvatarAsk Zeus Operator1 min to read

I plan to enroll in university and I'm not sure about th best degree to pursue. I thought about nursing for the freedom to work wherever and hopefully not be in a large city, also it seems moderately AI proof. I just overthink the negative aspects of it, such as work environment, hours, co-workers, and dealing with potentially repulsive situations. I also remember how compromised the medical industry is by izfet. I considered nursing for the monetary gain, and to also have something meaningful to accomplish at work, but I've heard many negative things about working in the industry. I considered utilizing astrology to help me choose a better career path, and my interests really seem to limit where I will be able to work. I prefer to stay in my rural area and be able to balance work with maintaining a future homestead. Any advice is appreciated.

Good evening, spiritual brother. The truth is that nursing is a difficult field, but at the same time a great service to humanity because the contribution is an extremely big benefit. Now, for whatever reason you feel like you can’t cope, it’s better not to look into it. Astrology is an amazing area to get into, especially now that we’re in the internet generation. You could do something of your own online. In any case, the choice is yours.

There is nothing wrong whatsoever with nursing, its a profession that should be given esteem. Any medical field is going to deal with themes of Izfet due to medicine's proximity to death.

You can also consider being an outpatient nurse or working with old people if stuck.

However, you may also choose to work in hospitals and clinics in small towns and rural communities, where there is a need for skilled, compassionate nurses who are attentive to patients’ needs. Nurses who are truly dedicated to their profession understand that medical care is about preserving life, alleviating suffering, and treating every patient with integrity, empathy, and compassion. 🙏🏻⚖️

This is the targeted message.

I think nursing could translate well into skills that could be very beneficial for you to have for your own homestead, if that's your ultimate goal.

Nurses are needed everywhere and you wouldn't need to stay in a big city necessarily, there are many types of nurses too, some who only work when there are absent staff, or even in boutique/medical spas/wellness centres or sports centres that administer I.V. therapy or some other things that medical professionals are needed for, for already healthy people who elect to do so. This would be better in terms of hours, potentially for you to transition into if you change your mind about working in a hospital over time, in addition to personalised caregiver roles with the elderly or bedridden, hospice etc

If you feel a calling to the medical field, then go for it. No matter what career you choose, there's going to be manageable negativity.

One piece of advice I'll give you from experience: don't rush. Ensure this is what you want to do before committing.

Nurses are in high demand, however, and I'm admire their selflessness.

Good luck!
