energy questions

i dont know if doing any energy meditation right, when i do foundation all i really feel is certain parts of my body msucles contract and a really unpleasent feeling all over even when working with light energy, and when trying to direct energy i can almost feel it but not move or direct, its really faint and i have to try really hard to even feel it and then most of the time its just me tensing
