In a recent sermon, our High Priest went over a trine set of titles of Zeus, in Zevs, Dias, and Zinas. This is a must read, as it explains our name as Zevists, and reveals far more about the nature of our God.
But, through my own studies and reading, I felt one more element needs to be added. I invite @Hp. Hoodedcobra666 to verify if this information is true, and until some form of confirmation is there, consider this hearsay and opinion.
The Δία root, roughly meaning "through, or between, or apart", to signify division, is also seen in Διάβολος, to mean "the one who casts apart".
Due to lack of spiritual initiation in the masses, and slow corruption of the sacred form of the Greek language, this word gained a negative connotation even among the Greek people at the time of the infancy of the christian scam, eventually being used by the New Testament to call the "devil" a "liar or slanderer". But, in truth, as far as I can see, Διάβολος, meaning "one who casts apart", simply refers to Zeus' nature as the great dividing force that allows life and the Universe to exist in the way it does. An initiate would likely know that Zeus is "the Διάβολος" because of this, and diaspora jewish spies in Greece would've caught onto this, as we know their slander is meant not only to insult the Gods, but to reframe what was already known by the initiated into a negative connotation, to make the transition towards an enlightened understanding of the Gods that much harder.
Διάβολος also contains the root βάλλω, "to throw, or to cast". This root relates to authority and the power to do so, which I see relates to the Sanskrit "Bal-" (बल्) root, associated with strength and masculine active force. This is yet another connection between the identity of Baal and Zeus as the same being. "Bala" (बल), in Sanskrit, literally means "strength" or mightiness. Bala is also literally a title of Indra.
