I do not recall reading about this, last night I 'saw' with my eyes while glancing past a power cord that I could see an actual colour glowing around the cord, the full length of the cord. It was just a regular 240v house extension lead. I am able to faintly see auras now and some colour this however was new and unexpected. It was basically like a fuzzy purple/white glow along the cord not terribly bright. Is anyone familiar with experiencing this? Today I cannot see it anymore.

Remember that everything has an aura.
Additionally, electricity is energy. This ommits an aura per sey. I too have seen strong 'auras' or energy surrounding leads some nights.
