Electric Candles

I have a black electric candle that I really like. There's no actual flame though. Does anyone know if flameless candles will work as far as meditations / ritualism is concerned? I looks pretty realistic, especially when the lights are off.

I have a black electric candle that I really like. I like the way it looks and I like not having to worry about wax drippings or it getting knocked over. There is no actual flame associated with it though. It looks pretty realistic (especially in the absence of light), but my question is will it actually work as far as meditations / ritual work is concerned? Does there have to be an actual flame for candles to be effective?

Do not use electric candles to do any rituals, this is insulting to our Gods and there could be punishment for such a humiliated act. Give respect to Satan and the Gods and show how serious you take them. No candle is needed for meditations, and just enjoy the electric candle as your own personal decoration.

I didn't know it was considered insulting. I'll just use it as a decoration. So as long as there is a real flame then I should be good? I know there are several different types of candles out there (pillar, taper, tea candles, etc.). Does it matter what type of candle or is the only thing that matters is a real flame? Thanks.

Any type of candle is good. Just experiment around and see which one you like the best (concerning types of candles, like pillars, tapered, tealights, etc.)
