This bogus self denial is rampant in both the xians and mudslimes. Just now, you hear about Lent. What the fuck is Lent? You are supposed to give up something you enjoy for the period! And why? As penance, that's why. This started with the cat licks, but other denominations practice some form of lent. This is not just with monasteries--they do take it to the extreme, though. Regular cat licks are supposed to give up something they enjoy for the 40 days. Is this a 40 day poverty working?
Within the jokehovians, who do not observe Lent, there is continual self denial. They are supposed to give up anything that might interfere with their continual meetings and preaching work. What little they do have is wasted on suit dry cleaning (which, by the way, is usually money wasted on getting your suits dirtied by perc and kike excrements--of various types), donations, gas (so they can go door to door), and incidental expenses. They also make do with inferior products because they don't wish to appear materialistic. Why?
And they are getting worse. The jokehovians are supposed to put that communist government first in their lives. Second place is for eating, drinking, health, courtship and marriage (they are STRICT about fornication), recreation, and money/financial things. Generally, that denomination already has too much cheap crap--they can't afford anything better, because they throw away their money on donation to the Worldwide Damnation Fund every time they save enough to get something nice. I noticed that many live with 1950s technology. They are the last to adopt nice things.
Mudslimes are not much better, if at all. They have their fast in Ramadan, which is now right in the midsummer months until 2020. I would like to see them observe that fast (no eating or drinking) in the Arctic (the sun never goes down near midsummer) or in the desert (where it can exceed 50 C regularly). Their idea is, if someone is poor, your being rich is making their poverty worse. Which is bullshit, since your poverty doesn't help me out one bit.
I also noted that many strict xians deny themselves other pleasures. They tend to bitch about holiday lights and decorations. I noticed one idiot putting a scripture on a black pillow--that fucking thing looks ugly--in place of my spider Halloween decoration and did not want any Yule garland placed near the door of that apartment. Too many view playing games as sins, as with possessing fine entertainment systems, listening to real music (instead of their religious shit they call music), or just having nice light bulbs in their places. Some of those idiots even view having a decent emergency system as a sin because they do not trust in "the Lord". I only hope they are the ones that find themselves in the blackouts when one strikes their kike mart while they are shopping there for replacement cheap crap.
As for me, I do not needlessly deny myself things. True, I prefer having fewer lights on (and having my place lit with Christmas lights, preferably LED). The bulbs I do have are LED, which are better than those primitive incandescent (using less energy) and are way better than those fucking kike bulbs (which hate being turned on and off, emit piss poor light quality, and can burn your house down, wasting huge amounts of energy if they do that). I have fine quality NiMH batteries for my Fenix LD22 flashlight (I intend to have one on me if I go into a mall or store in case of a blackout), and fine quality lanterns for household blackouts. I have fine quality clothing (that does not require dry cleaning, no thanks to the kikes running those places) from L.L. Bean--that will last me besides being better performing than the self-denying xians' cheap kike mart crap. Nice small appliances--and a stainless steel coat rack that will outlast those flimsy ones the xians get. And, for when the dollar becomes toilet paper (also, to slap the kikes in the face that fucked up Andrew Jackson's portrait--even giving him the lower ears/elongated forehead that kikes tend to have on it), I have a stash of silver. (And a little gold, for good measure.)
Now, I do not WASTE money on things of no or negative value. Having clothing that needs dry cleaning, to me, wastes money and maintenance (besides, the cleaners usually do a better job at making suits dirtier than when they went in). I do not smoke or use drugs. I also do not eat expensive foods that I do not enjoy--lobster is tops on that list (besides, I do not like the way they treat the lobsters in the supermarkets). However, I usually spend more money upfront on items I do get. And ultimately, it pays off. NiMH batteries do not leak. They are ready when I need them. LED light bulbs use much less energy and last longer--in an energy crisis, or if electricity prices go way up, that is going to save me more than I spent on light bulbs (plus, the 80 or more LED light bulbs I have in reserve should last long enough to outlast any crisis situation).
Why these religions insist that splurging is a sin--just so they can keep people in stagnation. They stipulate that sex is wrong, except in tightly regulated situations and then grudgingly. They stipulate that enjoying nice displays is wrong. They stipulate that owning fine items is wrong. It is them that want people to get shirts that require ironing, yet they do not like it when you get an iron for more than 10 toilet papers. They stipulate that you get a suit that needs dry "cleaning(??)", yet they bitch when you get one that is worthy of it or that can be machine washed. They stipulate that one must fast, or give up enjoyed items, during specific periods (and I believe the xian Lent is worse than Ramadan simply because it is a full 40 day working while Ramadan is merely 28-29 days). Yet, to take care of your health by taking vitamins is "not trusting in the Lord". This adds up to a full poverty working, along with sickness working, celibacy working, and damnation working.
I notice that I never saw any of that on Joy of Satan. Anything that hints on "being content with the present things" (taken directly from their damnation book) or making sacrifices simply for the sake of austerity is not on that site. Every sacrifice you make has a valid purpose. You sacrifice time, you need to get value equal or greater than what you give up. You sacrifice money, again you need to get value equal to or greater than what you give up. Simply placing it into the Worldwide Damnation Fund or quitting your job so you can go to a poor country or waste time in the poverty district (which also exposes one to such poverty energy) is not a value that justifies sacrifice. And giving up something for any reason other than because it is damaging your health or something is simply unavailable (or you no longer enjoy it) is not acceptable--we do not observe any of those religious fasts that plague xians and mudslimes alike. And this year, I hope many a mudslime find themselves in a pickle when the sun is up nearly 24 hours a day or the temperature exceeds 50 C.
