There are a few of you that I know have been waiting for this one.
So I will give you the news in its full glory.
This melt down of our economy will take another casualty. Yes, it
even effects us Merovee Dragons.
My wife, three children, and I will be homeless over the weekend. I
lost my job about two years ago and another never has surfaced and
the money I put into building my own company has finally failed. My
wife has been an entertainer since I met her. I am sure everyone has
heard the crap that entertainers can make 500 dollars a day. I have
been with her for fourteen years and in that time she has made that
and over only twice. On average she has made about 150 a night,
however that has dropped considerably over the last few months so bad
that she now averages about 50 and less a night, not to mention the
clubs charge girls to work for them. This last two months has hit us
so hard, we must be cursed ;-) Well now after a whole week of work
she has made 150 dollars after working 7 days in a roll and tonight
she only made 24 dollars, not to mention she now owes the club 70
dollars so she can work again.. I have placed over 400 applications
and resumes out over the last 3 weeks, online and in person. No job
for me to accept yet. To no avail we where evicted from our apartment
about 2 weeks ago. We have survived off fucking government cheese for
the last month, but still not getting ahead. Still falling further
south. I will do my best to convince the hotel to allow us a free day
or at least give us another day; maybe they will let us pay on
Saturday.
However, it will be just an extension in this long ordeal in the
death of my family. I think it will kill me to loose my children, not
too mention traumatize them but I can not allow them to live on the
street. I would pull a "Cinderella Man" in the UFC, hell 30 years of
martial art training should help, but damn my freaking knee has a
severed ACL.
So, street word bound for me, foster home for the kids.
