Earthly or spiritual square?

Hey everyone.

I want to do a mercury square for intelligence, but I'm a little bit at a loss here. I have no idea if I should choose the material (because it's, physically seen, the enhancement of the brain) or the spiritual (because intelligence is still "there" even if one does not have a physical body) square. Does anyone have an idea which one to choose?
Any intel is greatly appreciated.

if you were to do a spiritually based working you would only change the way you think, not the capacity at which you think.

personally, I don't feel like either is going to change your capacity for logic, the way one thinks is an integral part of their true self.
work toward bringing out your true self, and accept yourself for who and what you are only then are you going to feel "smart" or whatever
I wouldn't know from experience, but theres this crazy thing called the kundallini serpent, it resides at the base of the spine, and when you come to a certain point, it can do things like

A: make you fly
B: let you breathe under water, and in outer space
C:use mind control
D makes you have magneto powers, and pyrokinetic powers, and invisibility.

ignore A,B,C, and D , but in all honestly you shouldn't worry about intellect, as some people have it and some don't, but its a natural gift
I would even venture to say that you have great sense, spiritual and cultural and you have a fair amount of priceless knowlage and respect here.
so I don't know about how well you are going to solve a math problem, but the only real way to increase intellect, is to collect xp and then allot your skill points to the intelligence tree............ehem
I mean the only way to really increase your intelligence, is to indulge in studies of complex things, try to understand what others find to be over their head, if you can do ,that then it probably means you are pretty smart
and if your not a genius and you feel your physical brain isn't doing its job, keep doing yoga, work your spine, open your chakras to increase your awareness, even do a krya for the frontal lobe of the brain, and blood flow to the brain, take a cold shower, do a mercury square for intelligence, but most important try and craft some sort of intellect potion, draenic, or maybe go find a scroll...wait...yes definitely the last 2

Thanks for sharing your opinion. I personally am 100% certain that intelligence can be enhanced by mercury squares and runes, and also that it is of paramount importance (especially for me).Mercurys way of enhancing intelligence is to penetrate. You look at a certain text and easily figure out if it's bullshit or not. Another example -- You look at a person and easily know what they are up to. (I quoted part of this from Savitars post on the jos forums).I didn't say this earlier because it didn't matter for my actual question, but I will also do a mannaz working for intelligence alongside the mercury square. This way I am hoping to gain deeper understanding of anything I look at (mercury square) and also the logical "brainpower" to use the information I gain in the most effective manner, aswell as also improving my memory (mannaz working).
In my opinion, you are right in regards to the fact that the way one things cant (or atleast shouldnt) be changed. This, however can be *enhanced* instead. I noticed that I, personally, mostly use the creative side of my brain, and rarely the logical one. Because of this, I want to empower my logic side in order to make both sides work on far higher levels. I'm certain that this will make my progress in advancement skyrocket.

And don't worry, I'm already doing kundalini & hata yoga daily, anyways. 
Also, those references, lmao. In a sense, you are even correct in saying that I'm putting a lot of my points (time) into intelligence.

I did a 40 day mannaz working for intelligence, my math skills got good lol
