Yes, Mercury square will definitely help to increase this influence. But you also have to consciously try to realize it in real life through study & advancing in profession.
As far as my analysis goes I see this aspect in literally every chart with the extraordinary impact in profession, usually that of exact science as this aspect rules it. Yet if read the biography this never went without hard work, whether more or less talented.
