Dream Interpretation: Share Your Dreams

AvatarPersephone [NG]1 min to read

Greetings, brothers and sisters!

I've been studying dreams and their interpretation for quite some time, and I'd like to open this thread for anyone interested in sharing their dreams with me.

Dreams have always fascinated me, especially how our minds express experiences, emotions and concerns through imagery that isn't always easy to understand. I'd like to put my studies into practice and continue developing my understanding of dream interpretation while offering something useful to our Community.

If you have a dream you'd like me to examine, feel free to share it here or contact me privately through forum DMs or VT. I'd particularly appreciate knowing how you felt during the dream, whether you've experienced it before, and any circumstances in your life that you believe might be relevant to the interpretation as well as any details you can possibly remember from your dream.

I look forward to interpret your dreams! 🖤

Greetings NG Persephone, some years ago I had an interesting dream which I can still remember clearly: I was with my two roommates in a sort of bachelor's trip in the town where we went to college. During the trip we were in a luxury white SUV which was mine, but my friends were pilot and copilot, while I was unenthusiastically watching the mountain scenery in the back seat. Next scene is the "afterparty" in a mountain hotel, my firends had fun with some hookups but I was eager to leave the place, we approached the parking lot and then I noticed that it was like 9 am, but the sun just didn't rise. It was still dark, but pitch black, I became anxious and then scared when I realized that the sky was completely black, no single star visible (in that town sun rises at around 7 am and is stable through the year). My final feeling in that dream was "something is very wrong" and then I woke up.

In your dream, you're surrounded by your friends, yet you are detached from everything. While your friends are enjoying themselves, you show little enthusiasm and eventually become eager to leave. There's a certain conflict between your surroundings and how you seem to feel about being there.

Consider also your position in the car. The car belongs to you, but your friends are driving while you remain in the back seat. A car can represent our ability to choose our own direction in life, so being a passenger in your own vehicle might suggest that you're allowing others to influence your decisions or the path you're taking. However, this could also come from a sense of trust in your friends.

The dawn that never arrives may point to something deeper. It's already 9 a.m., yet the sun hasn't risen, almost as though the moment for a change has arrived but nothing actually changes. The complete absence of stars could also suggest a similar uncertainty, particularly a lack of direction or something familiar to guide you.

I would relate this to your position in the car. Perhaps you were allowing others to choose the direction because you weren't entirely sure where you wanted to go yourself. It would be helpful to know whether you were experiencing something similar in your life at the time, especially regarding your friendships and the decisions you were making.

Thank you so much NG Persephone, indeed that situation had happened at the moment, where I felt that I made multiple decisions not for myself but for them.

NG Persephone recently interpreted a recurring dream I've been having these past few years, and what she wrote was very insightful and profound. She mentioned things I never would have known about, because dream interpretation is not my area of skill.

On a side note, that picture in this post is absolutely beautiful!

Thank you for offering this for those of us who wish to share their dreams with you, in order to help us understand them better Novice Guardian Persephone. I will share mine that i just had before waking up, what i can recall from it anyway.

Alright, so what i can recall from the dream was i was in a house that seemed familiar to me. I recall it being bright inside, so it must have been daytime during it. I never looked out the windows though, there was a gargoyle statue in this house. I remember, during the dream, there was almost like paranormal occurrences happening, noises and voices i think. I couldn't figure out what it was, but can remember at one point this gargoyle statue clinging to me and the claws on my skin, and the pressure i could feel from it.

However, when the gargoyle statue was clinging to me it did not feel threatening, i just didn't seem to understand it and why it was there. Now i was never hurt by it in the dream, and as more time seemed to pass in the dream it turned into a mouse, white if i recall correctly. At first i seen this mouse and it was cold and i thought it was dead, however as i touched it i felt it become warm. It began to move around and became very attached to me and stayed with me on my arm. I was very happy about this, i cherished and protected the little creature and felt a very strong feeling of warmth.

As we know with dreams they can be sporadic and jump around, this is where i thought it became interesting. Suddenly i see me typing or i might have been saying Ma'at. I know definitely in the dream i seen the word Ma'at, it was distinctive. In fact it has stuck with me since i woke up, to help you understand here a bit more, i have never seen the word Ma'at in any dream i have ever had. Another thing, aren't words supposed to look all garbled in dreams we have in most cases? Thank you for taking the time Novice Guardian Persephone.

Hi NG Persefone, I really like the idea of starting this discussion on dream interpretation.

I have had many dreams throughout my spiritual journey, which began with my ritual of dedication about 10 years ago.

I am quite skilled in this art myself, but I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

1) I dreamt of very bright silver coins being touched by clear water; I remember the coins lying at the bottom of the water where I had submerged myself, all illuminated by a very powerful full moon.

2) In one dream, there was the face of a Siamese cat looking at me very seriously, before suddenly launching into an angry tirade.

3) I dreamt of the light of dawn streaming in through a window, yet upon waking, I found the window closed—which makes sense, as I always sleep in total darkness.

4) I had an erotic dream that does not align with my actual sexual orientation.

Could I get your take on this?

Greetings NG!

I was in the hoods and I created a crown of thorns with a small branch of a plant, and I put it on my head to simulate a story where the hero meet a Goddess while wearing this, in first chapters of the book.

To me looked like a mix between Dante and Odysee, but it seems that no such book and story actually exist in real life.

I went then at the tomb of Goddess Bastet (location name, not sure who was burried there) in the forest, and saw this black cat on top of the tomb, alive of course. But I went there while escaping two black wolfs. The cat eliminated both of them then, and was moving on, telling me that she/he was hungry, and this cat so wasn't waiting for me. It started to look like some sort of videogame task there. But I woke up then.

Odysee 1, 32-34:

"Ah, how shamelessly mortals blame the Gods!
For they say evils come from us,
whereas they themselves, through their own folly, suffer beyond what is ordained".

This is the targeted message.

Years ago when i was suicidal I had 2 dreams this one night. I remember mowing the lawn and there was a blue patch of mushrooms I ran over with the intention of trimming them and what came of it was appearing as a gods sigil. I dont remember what it looked like, but the next dream was me in my childhood home. I put down the gaming controller and walk out to the front yard and start scooping hand fulls of sawdust and start throwing it into a tractor-trailer we had but in the dream was full of logs. I kept scooping and tossing in the dust all the while in the corner of my eye was a golden shining person, their aura was gold, with white clothing and maybe blonde hair. I couldn't look directly at them but they felt feminine. The end of the dream was me going to my back yard and looking a lt a couple of people I know looking at the sun and I felt very peaceful.

There was also a time, maybe over a year, of sleep paralysis and nightmares with similar themes: someone is there and I cant see them. I was living alone and that was when I had the most sleep paralysis episodes. This one nightmare i had was me in bed looking to my door, which was cracked open, and seeing a chair sitting there as if someone had watched me sleep and they were gone. I go to the window and open it debating on jumping out, then i look back and the door is wide open. I run to shut it, then back to the window and I look back again and see the door open again. I yell full of panic at it to "Get out!", cussing and screaming at it and I had a leg out the window and before jumping I wake up.

Other dreams are just nightmare settings without the scares. 2 dreams I had that were similar were 1 with me walking in the pitch black apartment of mine, but I could still see with some unknown source of blue hue all around. It was so dark that i could've been seeing by sheer imagination and not by sight. I flick the switch and the light turns on, but the bulb has no throw to it, its on but it casts no light. Them something flicks the switch off. I flick it on and watch the switch. I turns itself off. I flick it again and hold my hand against it. Something flicks it off pushing it against my hand like its arguing with me without words. I go to my recliner, sit, and think.

The other dream I was in the bathroom of my apartment. I had to pee and was having difficulties with doing it, then the bathroom door, which I left open, was forced almost shut all on its own. Exactly like a door would act to the air pressure of the house when another door opens and shuts. Someone came into my house as I was peeing, and now the door was left cracked. I live alone. I was getting nervous waiting for someone to run in after me while I still had to pee. And little by little the noises of the water were so obvious It made me start to panic as the sound was telling whoever it was that I had my pants down and was vulnerable. Finally I was done and opened the door and peeked outside the bathroom to the entrance of the apartment. A breeze blew past me, like someone just walked past. I walk down a long hallway in-line with my bathroom to my bedroom door. I get to my bedroom and look down the hallway to see if someone followed, the apartment turned into the house I was previously in in another dream. The whole house was dark now. The only way that I could get through it was by turning on every light at every corner which only illuminated so much, hardly anything. There were lights at every corner, which is odd, if lighting worked as it did in real life then the house would be too bright, there is no point in having so many lights. But I made my way to the front room, turning on light after light and the light they gave off wasn’t normal, it was a dim blue. The whole room was a dim blue and it wasn’t bright enough for comfort. But at the corner of the front room, opposite the hallway to my room and bathroom, was another hallway, and it was pitch black. None of the lights would reach that far and I never made it to that corner. I was comfortable having only half my house if it meant I didn’t have to go to that part of it
