doing aura work

for example, when I do the aura of protection I really cannot see when I visualize. I can only ''feel''. I am more kinesthetic than visual. Is it okay? i only see black when I close my eyes.

We all only see black when we close our eyes. And yeah, some people go better with feeling than "seeing". Visualize doesn't mean to literally see, but to think/imagine of that certain color etc.

Also note that it is more important to 'feel' the energy or the chakras or whatever it is you're working with (when it comes to energy and spiritual matters) first before being able to see/visulise it. The feeling is important.
