We don't know if they secretly store your dna in a database. That's why I won't do this service. I'm fairly sure my dna is in no database currently, and I'd like to keep it so. Also it's not 100% because it's only as good as the genetic field of data they have on hand to compare it to.

They actually openly admit they store your dna, or at least your data about your dna. That way they can "inform you about changes" or "breakthroughs" if they learn more as science advances

George. While yes, George Washington was Zevism, that doesn't mean his descendants were. Those people on that commercial could be related to George Washington. He can't control what his descendants do.
They are pretty legitimate. Their technology isn't as good as that of 23&me though, so 23&me has more accurate results. Those companies will be as accurate as possible, because there's no way to know you are a Satanist. So if they fuck up your results, you could sue and they'd lose a LOT of business. Business-wise it's foolish to lie about people's results
