I heard that you could use a regular deck of playing cards as tarot cards.. Is this true?

A regular playing card deck contains 52 cards. A Tarot deck contains 78 cards, 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana. No, one cannot use a regular playing card deck as Tarot. Although I believe the cards has their origins from the very Tarot.
