I was looking through my books the other day and came across an old book I'd barely ever looked at--a book of poetry by a 14th century Indian princess, Mirabai. The book of poetry was called "For Love of the Dark One"--it was love poetry, devoted to her personal God, Krishna. I think Satan made me find that b/c He had a message--it is alright for us to show devotion to Him. My way of doing this is to pray, to leave flowers on my altar, to burn incense, to do art, to dance, to play music--all in a way of showing adoration of my God. I do not ask Him anything in return, so it isn't like groveling--I ask for nothing! But I love showing him respect and admiration in this way. Hindus call it "bhakti"--showing devotion toward one's personal God--and some Hindus spend their lives doing it. They believe that when you show your God respect, go out of your way to show your God how much you appreciate Him, you free yourself from incessant reincarnation. Of course as a devoted, dedicated Satanist, that's usually a given anyway.

So anyhow, I believe this kind of "worship" brings me closer to Satan, and I know He appreciates sincere admiration.
