Did my dedication count?

I did the dedication ritual correctly up till the point when you have to burn the piece of paper you wrote the prayer on. I lit it with the candle but it became quite a largefire so I had to let it burn in the sink. Most of it was burnt except a 2 inch section. I had to stop it burning as a family member came through the door. My instinctive reaction was to flush the rest down the toilet! I feel so guilty that I was disrespectful in that way, I was just so worried that, as someone whose family are Jehova's Witnesses, that I would get caught. Should I redo the ritual? Have I disrespected Father Lucifer in such a way that he will not want me?

If you cannot find the right candle color, forget the "so mote it be" at the end, or make some other minor error, that will not derail your Dedication Ritual. Satan is extremely understanding, unlike the christian god who will throw you into a pit of fire for every little thing, and is not going to come after you for extremely trivial errors. As long as your blood is on the paper and you genuinely want to dedicate yourself to Satan, your Dedication Ritual was valid.     The goal of Spiritual Satanism is to spiritually empower yourself and obtain powers that humans are supposed to have like healing and telepathy. Your ritual counts as long as you want to join satan and respect him in your heart. Don't worry. It was a good reaction to get rid of the paper because getting caught and having bad things happen to you because of this would be stupid. The only "sin" in satanism is stupidity.
