I was so nervous doing the beginning ritual and making sure everything was perfect...that I spaced out and forgot to wear all black!! I did it in my pjs! <:[ Was that offensive to the Gods? Is the ritual void because of that?

XDHaha, no, I don't think you should worry, but it's best to not do any other rituals with your pajamas. xDAt least you *did* have a bath before doing the ritual, right? :) Στις 8:03 μ.μ. Δευτέρα, 14 Απριλίου 2014, ο/η "okojino@..." <okojino@... έγραψε:

Of course you didn't offend them! They probably found it amusing. ^

You dont need to be in all black. They would understand your reasons for not doing it.

If the person /does/ have all black clothes, then why not do it? The person now wanted everything to be perfect so they forgot; I can actually understand that, when you're too stressful etc, you might forget. But don't tell them to not wear all black. It's like saying "don't take a bath, the Gods would understand your reasons for not doing it". Στις 7:02 π.μ. Τρίτη, 15 Απριλίου 2014, ο/η "red6joker@..." <red6joker@... έγραψε:

If your heart was sincere, and I believe it was. I believe you are just fine.
Hail Father Satan!

If we have to have a bath/shower immediately before doing a ritual, doesn't that sort of imply that we as humans are inherently unclean?

I have seen a lot of less than perfect dedications. As was mine and I bet most peoples. I wanted perfect and set off the smoke detectors. Then panicked it was going to wake my 23 year old son to come in and want to know first what was I doing and 2nd why was I trying to burn down the house, as I am the only Satanist in the family. Then I tried to meditate and clean up before he got up to get ready for school. I realized I have a bowl of burnt paper. I went back and reread web site and sure enough DAMN, nothing there to tell me what to do with it. I felt rather silly and said my apologies as yes I flushed them down. Hoping no offense would be taken and I didnt want to put it in the trash. I did feel like I was being chuckled at. It is really funny as truly it didnt go anywhere but underground in my backyard. We have a septic tank. It is true I felt nothing but love and welcome. It is your best intentions and what is in your heart..... Trust and stop doubting yourselves. Hail Satan

Nope. You're cleaning off any negative/bad/enemy vibrations you may have picked up during the day.

Plus, it's a form of respect. When you're about to interact with someone you find important, wouldn't you put on your best clothes, wear a nice scent, brush your hair &c?
