Did I do it right?

I was doing the dedication ritual, I had written down every thing and signed my name in blood. I then folded the paper and started to burn it, then I realized i didn't have anywhere to put the flaming paper. I panicked when the fire hit my hand and started to burn it, I didn't want to place it on the ground because i did not want to set my house on fire. I then had to drop it because it burnt my hand, then I beat out the fire with a towel. I sat down and forgot to say "So mote it be" Is it still valid? Did I anger Satan in anyway? Please help.

I almost fainted during the ritual (my brain obviously didn't agree with me cutting myself).

I couldn't write my full name in blood and only ended up with a few splotches, I continued regardless. Hopefully that was the right thing to do
