Deprogramming ones self

I have been on the Left handed path for a few years now but have stagnated out of stupidity, I am working on getting back on track after two or so years. Like many people I was raised in a cursed xian home and force fed all the bs that comes with it. I am in the process of deprogramming myself completely, any advice/tips on how to deprogram yourself of things that have become the core of your life? Things like being selfless, without desires that arent survival based for the most part including but not limited to sexual desires/needs, I am ashamed that I let this corruption get so bad and am determined to purge myself of it entirely but not sure where or how to start.
