I know in the dedication ritual it says to prick or cut ur left index finger... now i am a recovering heroin addict, and the people closest to me will take any "unexplained" marks on my fingers as new tracks... considering my fingers were my shooting place cuz its easier to hide. am I able to draw blood for the name signing from my arm? That way if any questions r asked I can say its, especially just a cut? Sorry if this seems like a weird question. Satan helped guide me through the hardest and most spiritually void time in my life so far. I believe it is time for me to formally confirm my relationship with him.
There are ways around this. First, if you want blood, it matters not where you get it from. Even a shaving nick will do--using a blade, you nick yourself on purpose while shaving and use the blood from that nick. You can also use a diabetes lancet, and get blood from wherever you can poke the lancet. It is important that you at least make a good-faith attempt at getting at least some blood, though the amount is not really that important. If all you can get is a barely noticeable amount, you can at least make a mark (however faint) on the paper and sign in red ink. Now, there are those who should not actually do the cutting. If you have a disease that makes tiny cuts more dangerous than normal, do not attempt the real thing. Whether it be hemophilia (and there are several types of that), an infection, cancer, a susceptibility to infections, or tissue disorders, if the real thing will be unduly dangerous, then you will need to do it symbolically. Poke your finger with a red pen and let that be the symbolic cut, and then sign with that red pen. Many drug addicts will need to do it this way because either the drugs or infections picked up from the needles render the real cutting unwise. For those who lack the supplies or are "too chicken" to make the real cut (and some occupations are such that a real cut could require a few days off to heal), at least make the good-faith effort. The important thing is that you cut yourself off from jew-hovah, jewsus, and the butt-holy spirit. And for some, that requires more courage than the cut itself. Many refer renouncing the butt-holy spirit as "the ultimate sin", and indeed it is the point of no return. Unlike the physical cutting, there is no excuse for wimping out on cutting your connections to jew-hova and his butt-holy spirit.[/B] You can do that regardless of medical conditions or lack of supplies. The other thing that often goes wrong is the paper burning. Sometimes it is too dangerous to burn anything. Your parents could catch you, and you would be in Trouble. Lack of supplies is another issue. You might live in an apartment lacking adequate facilities to burn even a slip of paper, or you could set off the fire alarm and have the fire department visiting you when it is simply a small, under-control paper fire. Some people are forced to use incandescent or LED candles for safety reasons. For these people, a symbolic burning of your ritual by shredding or burying it will do the job as well. Also, if it doesn't completely burn in the bowl, that is not the end of the world or mean your ritual failed.Ideally, a well equipped temple requires multiple candle holders, a big incense burner, a bowl, and plenty of space. Realistically, many will have to use their range as a substitute. This means rituals will not go perfectly. And especially with the blood part, you need to use common sense and not risk putting yourself in the hospital just to get enough blood. Do the best you can without "getting caught"--especially if a parole officer will view a finger cut as a sign of violation of parole. You might just do a symbolic poke with your red pen and sign with that pen--which is better than having them think you did more horse, locking you up another 10 years, and forcing the LIE[/B]-ble on you.Hail Satan![/B]
