No, it is valid. It is what is in your heart that father sees; he
doesn't care if stuff doesn't go exactly according to plan. He
understands that stuff goes wrong. In fact, most ritualsl do, to some

If it makes you feel any better, I dropped my Dedication prayer in on the candle when I was burning it, the candle went out, I re-lit the candle and proceeded in burning the prayer. And I am very much Dedicated to Satan! Don't worry so much about little things like this, Father Satan Understands.
