Does the item used to write or draw blood have to be a needle or razor? these items are unattainable in my household.

These items are suggested simply because they are the most ideal for drawing a little blood, anything beyond that, i'd imagine, would be extreme...but whatever works for you is fine, remember, it's not HOW much blood you draw, but it's what's in your heart. Your honest intentions.

It doesn't really matter how or where from your body you get it from. Just as long as you get some of your blood on the paper.

I used a thumbtack.
Although other messages i have read here in the group tell me a razor or razorblade would have been less painful
Anyway
Use what you got that is fine.
Long as it's clean of course as it does mention the word sterilized.
Which is an indication that pure blood is of course best.
Long as that is kept in mind you can most likely use whatever you got.
