Dates for Magickal Workings - May

AvatarHigh Priestess Lydia Coventina2 min to read

I've been doing this every month to make things easier for my fellow Zevism, so you can all quickly figure out workings to improve your lives.

May

Always check the Void Moon for your location. I did these for both Western hemisphere (Canada, USA, South America) and Eastern hemisphere (Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia).

Monday 1: Waxing Moon in Cancer, anything to do with the home, family, memories, etc.

Tuesday 2: Waxing Moon in Leo, good for increasing confidence, charisma, athleticism, creativity, etc.

Thursday 4: Waxing Moon in Virgo (after Void for those in eastern hemisphere). Increasing health, organization, fitness, routines, service to others.

Sunday 7: Waxing Moon in Libra. Love, social life, harmony, peace, contracts, legal matters.

Tuesday 9: Waxing (almost Full) Moon in Scorpio. Increasing sexuality, research, investigation, power, anything occult related.

Tuesday 16: Waning Moon in Capricorn/Aquarius (Void in middle of day for those in eastern hemisphere; only in Aquarius after void for those in western). Curses, destruction, banishing, ending things (when in Capricorn). Breaking free from restrictions (when in Aquarius).

Saturday 20: Waning Moon in Pisces. Ending things, banishing, etc.

Tuesday 23: Eastern hemisphere only: Waning Moon in Aries, curses and destruction workings.

Sunday 28: Waxing (barely) Moon in Cancer. Anything to do with the home and family, etc.

Monday 29: Eastern hemisphere only: Waxing Moon in Cancer. Anything to do with the home and family, etc.

Tuesday 30: Waxing Moon in Leo, good for increasing confidence, charisma, athleticism, creativity, etc.

Wednesday 31: Waxing Moon in Virgo (after the Void), increasing health, organization, fitness, routines, service to others.

Thank you for posting this!

On each of the days do you direct your thoughts corresponding to the moon, or is it specific to do working on those things?

So for example, on a cancer moon do I just think about family things for that day or do I do a specific working to attain something dealing with family?
Then the next day when the moon is in leo do I just think about gaining confidence or do I do a working for it?

For workings what I'm confused about,  I've read it's best to start a working at the start of a moon cycle but if I want to start a working in a leo moon now it's not at the beginning of the moon cycle.. Should I only focus on one working at a time?

If there is multiple things I am trying to achieve in my reality whats the best way to go about this?

what is this for? speel workings or energy affirmations? im kinda just confused thanks

I have a question about these workings-About how powerful should one be before doing a working to resolve a problem? I am dealing with several issues I need to get rid of to advance, but I'm not sure if I'm powerful enough. Would a simple working, like vibrating SATANAS a number of times and using an affirmation be a waste of time at this stage?
Thank you very much for this list, by the way.

#4

Thank you so much, Lydia! You're a huge help, and I appreciate you!

Hail Satan!

#5

Thanx Lydia! Terrific!

@Mandy and Brook-

These are dates to begin a magickal working, such as a 40-day working with a rune, or energy, and affirmations.

Doing too many workings at once will deplete your energies, so it's advisable for newer people to just have one on the go.

Magickal workings are greatly aided by the moon sign and phase, as well as planetary day, so this will help any Zevism chose something that will benefit them. If you don't see any that you need or want, or can't do a working at this time, I keep posting these every month :)

You can have a look through the rune page on JoS to get ideas for a working, or post any ideas here and someone can assist you with a rune or planetary mantra or something else, and affirmation.

One of the biggest workings I have done that really changed my life, was simply energy breathing and affirmation. No vibrations. But I have a strong will and visualization. Figure out a method that works for you :)

#7

@FunnyFred- I did a major life changing working as a newbie. The more you try, the more successful you will be. Even if you don't have much success at first, it will go a long way to setting a good foundation for yourself.

Practice makes perfect, and the Gods like to see us attempting to change our lives for the better. As HPS Pythia has stated in the past, "The Gods help those who help themselves".

Just make sure you don't over-extend yourself. Don't take on a bunch of workings at once, and always make sure to do Rituals. The Rituals are saving the world, without us doing them there won't be any point in doing magickal workings as we will all be screwed.

Rituals = Freedom

I guess what I'm looking for to sum it all up is application for this information (:

#10

Um.. does this work??
Nauthiz + 30
Isa + 33
Sowilo + 32

For the 9th I was thinking

"I am strong in resolve I am strong routine I am strong in self" I assume this is done during the hours of the moon for strongest affect and I do this for a month or more right? Plz respond I really need this in my life.

Hail Satan
Hail The Gods of Elysium

#11

Thank you for the reply, that cleared a lot up for me!

Does the moon sign affect the way the day goes?

#12

Just Nauthiz should do it. Or Nauthiz and Sowilo.

It was stated in the groups years ago, that when using 2 or more runes for the same purpose, it's best to keep the rune count equal. So you can use a common number, or a different power number, such as 20 reps for both.

Honestly there are a lot of power numbers. It all depends on the purpose of the working.

Hour of Sun might be best, Sun rules the Self. Or Jupiter too, you can use different hours daily, as long as they are beneficial hours, whichever works best into your schedule for the day.

I meant 36 reps for the runes, as that's a good power number for this. I'm not sure why I wrote 20, runes are best if they are over 27 reps, HPS Pythia wrote on this years ago.

#14

When should i do the Munka working?? 20 or 16 May??

#15

@lydia_666
Oh ok that makes so much sense now. Thank you! You are such a big help and I would be lost without my family here. Ill look through and post an idea I have here to see I it'll work. Thanks again so much!! :D

Is the disease prevention meditation a destruction workin and a healing working too much? If it is should I only do disease prevention and healing? Thanks

thank you for posting this.

would the Leo signs be good for acting and performance? it mentions charisma, and I could use some..personality work done. that is, expression needs to be worked on. (i mumble a lot, even if you factor in we are in mercury retrograde right now, and i am usually just dull to be around)

Is this ok like will it work. And the rune is pronounced right correct? And I will not start on a void moon of course but is it ok that after it is started if it falls in a void moon it won't effect anything? Thanks! :)

Always
check the Void Moon for your location. I did these for both
Western
hemisphere (Canada, USA, South America) and Eastern
hemisphere (Europe,
Africa, Asia, Australia).

Monday 1: Waxing Moon in
Cancer, anything to do with the home, family, memories, etc.

Tuesday 2: Waxing Moon in
Leo, good for increasing confidence, charisma, athleticism,
creativity, etc.

Thursday 4:
Waxing Moon in Virgo (after Void for those in eastern
hemisphere).
Increasing health, organization, fitness, routines, service
to others.

Sunday 7: Waxing Moon in
Libra. Love, social life, harmony, peace, contracts, legal
matters.

Tuesday 9: Waxing (almost
Full) Moon in Scorpio. Increasing sexuality, research,
investigation, power, anything occult related.

Tuesday 16:
Waning Moon in Capricorn/Aquarius (Void in middle of day
for those in
eastern hemisphere; only in Aquarius after void for those in
western).
Curses, destruction, banishing, ending things (when in
Capricorn).
Breaking free from restrictions (when in Aquarius).

Saturday 20: Waning Moon in
Pisces. Ending things, banishing, etc.

Tuesday
23: Eastern hemisphere only: Waning Moon in Aries,
curses and destruction workings.

Sunday
28: Waxing (barely) Moon in Cancer. Anything to do
with the home and family, etc.

Monday
29: Eastern hemisphere only: Waxing Moon in Cancer.
Anything to do with the home and family, etc.

Tuesday 30: Waxing Moon in
Leo, good for increasing confidence, charisma, athleticism,
creativity, etc.

Wednesday 31: Waxing Moon
in Virgo (after the Void), increasing health, organization,
fitness, routines, service to others.
