I would like to inform you about dangerous automatic / self-cleaning litter boxes that have been showing up on marketplaces such as Amazon, most likely at a global level not just the US.
These are highly dangerous and have been reported to cause harm and death to pets and could also prove dangerous to small children.
Please avoid buying such dangerous garbage from outright evil companies.
Please notify your friends and family about these dangerous litter boxes if they own pets or not.
Tell them how horrible such a thing is and how Amazon is complicit to the deaths of several animals.
If you wish, please notify your local veterinarian and ask them to spread the word to other pet owners.
