I prefer the "I'm a magic alien wolf goddess from another dimension who is friends of Satan that has come to planet Earth in human form in order to help all you humans with your cause" teens instead of these ones.

At least those types are amusing with the insane delusional LARPing stories they come up with and trick themselves so hard into believing.

I'll tell you the best ones I heard directly from the person:

• one believed he was Apophis, cursed by Azazel in a human body after the defeat at his, a human body that expires in his twenties;
• one believed that Death was his mother;
• one believed that she was a vampire, she actually drank blood and was on a wheelchair and fat, because walking made her tired. In a past life, she believed she was High Priestess of Avalon and a water bender, and I was, according to her, her promiscuous brother, both from Scotland, and I made her swear she'd never use water bending so now in this life she couldn't show me lol
• two girls that believed they were Bella Cullen and Caroline Forbes and they live as them in another world every time they go to sleep. Sometimes they would leave their children from the other world into their body lol One day they made up that the grand coven of witches had made me a vampire body in their world and that every time I went to sleep, I would wake up there but I couldn't remember because "I was too weak/closed" lol

If ya know where to look it gets pretty bad

• Demon king that is somehow cursed to a human body ( his words, also has 100000 spirits or so following him constantly ( literally ) was a ruler of some kingdom in a past life or some shit )
• 300+ people in one community that all believe they are werewolf shifters and have been practically brainwashed by the leader ( all of them are like robots when it comes to questions lmao )
• Athena who somehow became a hooman and spends her days playing her nintendo switch or pretending to be a werewolf
• Another kid who thinks they are related to death ( also a quote on quote werewolf shifter )
• Ice ( LeT iT GOOooO ) water and fire bender ( basically worse version of your last one, minus the dream thing. Bender is the terminology they used )
• insert 5+ teenagers who believed they were gods reincarnated but wont explain every one of them since its basically a repeat of the above
• insert 20+ wiccans who try to collect friendships with the gods like pokemon "Gotta catch 'em all!"
• insert another 20+ wiccans who try to collect fae like pets "Gotta catch 'em all!"
• insert another 50+ wiccans who try to enslave elementals "Gotta catch 'em all!"
• Wait did I mention wiccans that believed they could turn into birds via subliminal? Or how about the ones who tried to become dragons via subliminal
• Some rando guy who tried to lead a cult, believed he was an angel or some shit and stole human bodies and therefore is HoLY pls praise also believed themself to be involved with the government kidnapping children who had "powers" and putting them into a military physic program or some shit ( very oversimplified, I took way too much time looking into this guy and for awhile was in his quote on quote group cause I have a fascination with cult leaders lmao. No I did not believe this shit, it is clearly a fuckin lie dont ask me how people believed it cause idk myself )
• Gator wolf ( like 20 ft long 2 ft tall shifter, we nicknamed them gator wolf because of it lmao )
• First family cult also known as first family pack ( More extreme version of the wolf shifter bs I mentioned above, origination of the gator wolf. I couldn't get much on them though since they are very closed off. From what I can tell, another cult. They used to make people pay to become werewolves or some shit at an undisclosed location which is very sketch. Now only sells moon water due to getting bashed online for their shady shit. Members are bat shit crazy. Their story behind werewolves is on wattpad btw lmaoo. Can be found on youtube, if ya look. Disclaimer, do not do stupid shit please. These people are liars. There used to be a website with a bunch of bs on it such as the gator wolf but it has all been heavily modified and most of the sketchy shit and paid services removed. I have never met members who had went to this location, however, so I cannot say for sure what goes on there. Though i have met a few people who never became "werewolves" that were considered ex pack members, who were scammed by the creator or admitted it was a cult. As much as I'd like to say it was just a random scam there was more to it, but again I couldnt get much info on it due to how secretive it was. )

Some shit I found, there is much worse sadly the ones I mentioned above. I was in wiccan communities at the time cause I was wiccan, others I found via my interest in cults. Take this as a warning for the lurkers... WICCANS ARE FRICKIN CRAZY, every single one of the above excluding the "angel" boi-o were all wiccans lmao.

About people believing they are something else, I discovered there are some subcultures:

• rv = real vampire or human living vampire
• rw = real werewolf or human living werewolf
• therian = humans who believe they have a animal soul
• otherkin = humans who believe they have mythological soul (phoenix, dragons, mermaids, "angels", "demons" and so on)

Yep, except all the people I mentioned above genuinely believed they PHYSICALLY turned into wolves, I've encountered others like mermaids, vampires etc but all the ones I mentioned above thought they physically turned into these beings. Therian are their own type of crazy, but at least they don't claim to physically change into other beings.

I dont know how familiar you are with the subliminal community, but its separate from those kinds of people as well. They are their own subculture. They believe by listening to very quiet subliminal affirmations for hours over the course of years will make them turn into a dragon or some shit. You can find it on youtube, hundredss of them. Theres been quite a few scandals where the makers put in subliminals not related to the delusional goal ( some shit like worshipping the youtuber or watching all of their videos ).

I don't really think this warrants a thread, but it's definitely an amusing topic of discussion.

Media is a heavy influencer with this kind of thing. Books, movies, and especially anime are all things that really dig deep into this mentality. Role-playing is something a lot of kids (and adults) do for fun and entertainment but I think a lot of kids and teens these days struggle to really understand the difference between reality and fantasy when they delve too deeply in this.

It's fun to be something else, to play around with your imagination, anybody who's ever had a lucid dream will understand that it's the most incredible feeling to escape into another world and do whatever you want to do, there's no greater sense of freedom than that... but if you don't recognize that this world is but a mental mirage, a playground of which once you leave it to return home you don't still try to swing on a swing that isn't there anymore... then that's where delusion surfaces.

The enemy has burdened this world with control, strict boundaries, suppression of mental freedom and virtually every gentile subconsciously feels this lack of freedom. The enemy then tells everyone they can be whatever they want to be, do whatever they want to do, and in the sufferage of suppression they severely exaggerate what freedom actually is and this constitutes a warped perception of it.

"You can be whatever you want goyim, you can do whatever you wish, there are no consequences! The world is whatever world you want it to be!" and then younger individuals try to incorporate this perception to blur the lines of what's real and what's fantasy to live in a world of their own making. Things like anime really bring out the most incredible worlds and stories, universes and fantasies far better, far more adventurous and far more exciting than the prison planet we live on, so these kinds of people want to and try to live in those kinds of worlds instead, but it's all in their head.

Do they actually fully believe 100% they are what they've made themselves up to be? I don't think so. I think deep down they realize they're fooling themselves into this blanket of security but for the large part of it they're totally blind to this. It may seem they completely believe they turn into a wolf on a full moon, or that they can shape-shift into a dragon at will, but this is because the mere idea that they can is the only confirmation they need, and the 'actions' they perform to mimic the state is enough for them to see it as, at the very least, a mirror of what they claim is actually happening.

Everybody wants to be someone in this universe, they want to find out who they are, they want to feel important, they want to feel loved, revered and special, they want something for themselves but because of the enemy they can't find any of this without finding the truth and even then they need to follow the path appropriately and be true to themselves. And with that, aside from the amusement, disbelief and sometimes irritability, I do feel very sorry for these people and sometimes pity them.

I just wish they'd realize that pulling themselves out of their fantasy and waking up on the other side isn't going to kill them.

I don't know if that's crazier than believing that there are as many genders as there are Pokemon, that you can use "xir" and "they" as your pronouns and you can compete with women in sports if you pretend to be a woman. Or a 52 year old man who believes he is a 6 year old child.
