cnn report social networks

I was watching a special on CNN  about the life of a thirteen your old and the affects of social networks on teens. I think that's so sad how hooked they are on it and a lot of bullying is going on with it and there saying things that the would never say to a person one on one . Now I don't think facebook was what they were using but one similar this is probably a yes to my question but facebook is of the enemy is that true too for all social media ?
