Should I spin my chakras clockwise or counterclockwise?? I just read on a site to spin them clockwise, but still not sure.

How to know your Chakra is Spinning:
1.  You have 7 energy centers.  These 7 energy centers are tied to actual physical organs that produce this said energy.  Energy is Emotion.
2.  So you have 7 different areas responsible for producing a specific generic type of emotional energy, however 7 centers can also produce many other different types of energy that are not the generic energy thought of as the 7 chakras.
3.  The energy is produced from the physical locations, but the energy can Go anywhere... meaning it is not a chakra in a Fixed Location, hence the idea of chakras being able to move...its just basically energy that is your aura and energy body.
4.  Knowing this, this right away just points to the fact that chakra at the source is Just Energy Particles.  Energy particles have spin rates, etc.. rule of thumb is it is Momentum your "Energy in Motion = Emotion."  So if energy is ramped up it is spinning faster.

The Meaning of the Spin Directions:
1. Sunwise/Clockwise/Deisil  vs.  Widdershins/Counter-Clockwise.  These are Pagan terms, and you may see them show up in Wicca regarding doing rituals.
2. Both of these two words the spin directions have a purpose in Ritual.  Widdershins is used for Banishing and De-manifesting energy bound in a form on earth.
3.  Sunwise or Clockwise/Deisel  has the opposite effect.  Now it depends on what you use them for.

To the person saying chakras were spinning in weird directions all over the place.  The Spinning of chakras in different directions creates a sort of magnetic field in regards to Particle Spin.  This relates to the Magnetic Poles of the Earth.  However, when you relate Earth Gravity to Outer Space one would question what is Truly Up/down/Left/Right  if a Ship, ghost or phantom were to come to earth and pass through one end and come out the other.  So direction is only relative to the earths magnetic field.  I have only heard about it, but I have heard that depending on if you come from the North or South it may or may not effect when you do Widdershins or Clockwise?  I have not confirmed that, but personally I prefer to always spin all my Chakras Clockwise as I do my own programming concerning energy work.

If your chakra's are facing in all kinds of directions then there's definitly something very wrong. 

They are alligned at the centre of the body so if you imagine standing on a large clock then you can understand what clockwise and counter clockwise is for those middle chakra's.

For the other chakra's, just imagine (or get a physical clock or whatever if you have trouble vizualizing) a clock in front of them and see what clockwise and counter clockwise is for those chakra's. 

From what I have noticed there is not a specific way that is correct for everyone, some people seem to have their chakra's spinning clockwise and some counter clockwise and some have chakra's spinning in different ddirections. 

Also, this might seem strange but after a while (not sure what causes this) your chakra's can start glowing gold. Besides their own respective colors all start becomming like Gold and they might even start transforming into a yoni. I actually had this happen where a small Gold yoni appeared inside my chakra's and all my chakra's started glowing Gold from that point onwards.

Hailodin. I will try to explain it to you, but don't blame me if it sounds complicated, lol.
I "look" at my body from above and then spin the chakras accordingly ( the 7 main chakras all being spun in the same way). As for the rear and temple chakras, I look at them from the bottom (the bottom of the pyramid, since they are pyramid shaped), and then spin them counterclockwise. I hope this was understandable. Feel free to ask if it wasn't. Also, this is how "I" personally do it, so it's not an universal standard or some shit. You can try to look at each chakra (even the main ones) from their bottom and then spinning them counterclockwise, if that works better for you. I honestly think that the only important thing is that they spin in the first place.

Thanks Shael. That is closer to what I was asking. I aligned them with the points according to the pics but there is some intense geometry at play here. The point does nothing to tell the direction of spin. It seems useless to put the point one way without also putting the spin in an appropriate direction.

For example looking down from top of my head, 2nd and 3rd chakras have points 1 facing up and 1 facing down. With a Clockwise spin measured looking down that would mean they are going different directions if you measure from the wide end. The wide end of the 2nd chakra would spin counter to the wide end of the 3rd, even though they are both clockwise spin looking down from the top of my head.

I just thought there was an across the board way they should spin for all of us? It says to astral project turn them counter clockwise, but again the geometry makes this weird to do.

That does not say counter clockwise. It says the opposite direction. If yours spin clockwise, it would be counter clockwise. But if yours spin COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, then it would be clockwise.

In general how they should spin is individual. Do what feels best. I for my part spin all 7 main chakras the same way (when looking from above). If another way feels better for you I would advise you to do it.

I spin mine clockwise, I find resistance when I spin them counter-clockwise. And I won't push it against the flow, when clockwise seem so natural. So, spin them in direction in which they spin smoothly without any resistance.
