I know how you feel. In class i had to watch some catholic movie about people being accused of witchcraft and summoning a demon, then they were hung. Then we had to read a few sermons of xianity. Then we had to watch another movie xian movie. A whole bunch of xian shit. The teachers excuse was "The topic is the puritan era". I HAD to do it to pass but all the xian shit didnt affect me. I suggest you do it to pass. I know it pisses you off but that when you start to get creative

THINK you dont have to say thing one about the real WW2 just tell him a few things you likd about the book. foe example the characters felt real on the page,i.e. it's hard to take a real person and put them on the page let alone a fake one, or talk about the setting,mood, action , pacing, ANYTHING. if your teacher is dumb enough she'll swallow it with out a second thought.
