Biblical "Prophecies"

So this one "Zevist" dude who was obviously an xian in disguise asked me "how can satan be real though if the bible has revealed so many "prophecies"? i was just wondering." yeahh... soooo your really a Zevist? okay anyways, i was just wondering how i should approach this. i really need to do my full research to have successful arguments with people like this, as one of you stated. but i am in the process and i was wondering where did the biblical "prophecies" (very few of them) come from? since there is obviously no god did the bible authors steal the material from pagan or other sources like it is most of the time? or what? again please explain.

oh and whats the fuckin scare tactic of "god and the devil will battle at armaggedon. when the lord will finally destroy satan" blah blah where did that crazy fear promoting shit come from? well obviously an xtian but more specifically?
