Some have claimed the Corrupted Beings are from the star Betelgeuse. It appears to have exploded recently:

Betelgeuse is part of Satan's empire. Its one of, if not the most beneficial stars in astrology, and is in the constellation of Orion, and is definitely NOT where Corrupted Beings are from.
There's been a lot of topics discussing this before in the past. I think a lot of the gods actually live around Betelgeuse because of its positive energies, and obviously because its a part of the constellation of Orion.
And I'm pretty sure its not going to supernova for a long time, so I don't know about this whole 'exploding' bit.

Are you sure or do you just reckon and hope? Usually, when people say, "I'm sure..." they actually mean "I am not sure, but I reckon/hope..." instead.

I highly doubt this. According to existing sources, the distance between Betelgeuse and Earth is around 643 light years, which means that it takes Betelgeuse's light 643 years to reach Earth. If Betelgeuse was indeed to explode, it would have exploded in 1379 in our time, and only now we would see this because only now the light emitted since the explosion would be visible from Earth.

Then, the blatant dimming on Betelgeuse that is shown in that article cannot take place so fast naturally, it would take probably at least millions of years to dim this much, unless an artificial force has caused this to the star which in my opinion is not possible. Betelgeuse has a diameter of 1.3 billion kilometers, is nearly 1000 times bigger than the Sun. I highly doubt any civilization irrespective of how advanced it is can cause Betelgeuse to dim so much in a matter of months basically according to the article in the original post.
