White walls behind you. clean mounted mirror , good lighting. look at your 3rd eye for 2 minutes or so. you'll see your aura soon after depending on the power of your 3rd eye. dont look at your aura move your attention to other parts of your face. it works for me.

You can use runes to empower the 3rd eye, and 6 chakra, and dont forget about the Pineal Gland. There are different runes you can use, but I like Ansuz, it helps with psychic and magickal abilities. Doesn't also the moon Kabtalistic/Magical square empowers the third eye. I think that would be helpful as well.
