Being Too Grounded

We are the future gods of our people. Start acting
I have an issue that's been quite prominent for a couple of years now and I want to be careful with how I go about this so I'm asking for advise through others here.

As a serious Saturnian I am far too grounded for my own good, conscious and subconscious focus is primarily materialistic by default and based almost solely on the physical plane. This makes it difficult for me to focus and work with spiritual matters in that it takes a lot of effort on my part to switch my attention to aether and astral matters, whether this is my own soul or just generally anything spiritual. This can be exhausting and I'd like to make things easier on myself by being able to connect better with spiritual aspects.

I'm not looking to become less grounded but more spiritually connected so that I'm not so naturally focused on physicality and material matters but more so on the astral and higher planes. I've thought of a variety of ways to go about it from planetary squares, to runes, to energy, to elements, but I'm very cautious and don't jump into something without further clarification or information.

What are things you can mention here that can help me be less physically focused? For example if runes, what runes? What element? Which planet's energy would be better, etc.

Do you know which element is most prominent in your natal chart? With individuals that consider themselves as too fixated on material aspects, it's usually due to an over abundance of the Earth element or too little of the air element, thus you should work with the opposite elements of air and water if you deem you are advanced enough to work with invoking/evoking the elements, in order to balance things out. You never want to go overboard with it though, it is important to keep track of emotional changes and mental states as you work with them so that you know when enough is enough.

If working with the elements aren't exactly what you're going for, there will be Mercury squares starting on the 22nd of this month with Mercury in Gemini, a mercury square can definitely help with mental concentration, balancing yourself, and giving you more clarity while meditating. As for runes, Lögr can certainly help as it is a rune used to increased sensitivity to the astral and energy.

Sometimes music, working on art, or simply being in a relaxing environment can help put one in a good state of mind for meditating, something that stimulates the feminine side of the brain.

If you’re a Saturnian person, most likely you have the capacity to become very disciplined or you’re already are.

Use this quality to continually empower your upper chakras and concsciosuly direct your attention and daily thoughts on spiritual matters. After a given period, this will become a habit and the whole mindset will change.

As for energy work:
Try balancing the qualities of Saturn, which is cold, heavy and dry. The element of Air is light, but cold and dry. The combination of Water and Fire is exellent for handling Saturn.
The best planet you can work with to counter Saturn is the Sun, the second best is Jupiter.
The latter will prove itself to be very useful in spiritualizing your thougths and orientation.

The summarize it:
-Alternate Nostril Breathing for upper chakras, other extended upper chakra workings
-Water amd Fire invocation
-Sun and Jupiter planetary workings.

Well I think the best advice is just do as the sloth does. Mageson seems like a really grounded earthy dude. And his advice all along has been to slothz it. And I mean that in a serious way.

Basically you said it takes a lot of energy to get tuned into spiritual matters because you’re living to much in the material realm. Well that’s the problem. It shouldn’t take ‘work’ to get into the spiritual side. Just tune into the sloth, relax and it happens easily.

Especially if you have an earth emphasis. Trance comes easily to earth element.

You have to realize you’re setting aside a time for balance. When you meditate give into the moment, relax and understand this is the time for spiritual matters. Set goals for that time. Practical and realistic ones and don’t end the session until it’s done with less a focus on how long the session is and more a focus on what you’re accomplishing. This will help you stay in the moment and better reach the state necessary for spiritual persists.

You really should get a reading from Hp Zevios, his reading „Magickal and occult nature“ really helped me in regards where I have to work on my soul.

Bro i can't believe this i was just thinking about making this post. I legit thought of it I am also seriously Saturnian as i am a Capricorn ascendant and Saturn is my chart ruler but i then thought that i will figure this out by meditation and getting advanced i just have to be persistent.

My best friend is a very Strong Saturnian person with 5 Capricorns and Aquarius Ascendant. She is more materialistic than me but also quite interested in Spiritual things. I think you guys answered my question as to why she doesn't seem to do meditation despite being interested in it. I was trying to introduce her to meditation. I can get her to meditate when I am around but she has no persistence She keeps complaining about having to repeat things she did in her past life and somehow remembers this as well as current life but seemingly can't seem to have the persistence to meditate and change her situation or do it this frustrated me. Thanks for this post it helped me understand this. I was thinking of her as stupid for this even though I know she is intelligent more so than most I know lol but I guess it's just the nature of her ruling planet Saturn which is in Capricorn

PS I am not hijacking this just thanking you guys for making it since this helped me figure out the issue

I did read if you use ether it will balance the element that you miss. I can´t find the source.

Fire, definitely fire. Far too much fire really and I made the mistake of doing a sun square for spiritual aspects as I had not taken into account the other traits of the sun; now I've been working to fend off energies that have been affecting my physical body and mental state as a result: dry burning skin, very high resting body temperature, burning hatred and anger without real provocation, etc. I should've worked with a more calming planetary element like water to balance my fire.

Occasionally throughout my day I will consciously drift my attention to spiritual matters such as focusing more on the energy and astral bodies of objects around me and tuning into the astral. I appreciate the information for the alternate nostril breathing as I had not thought of my upper chakras and now believe that perhaps I have too much power in my lower chakras, especially my base as I readily feel more energy in that chakra when I focus on it than I do others.

I had just finished recently a planetary working with the sun square but unfortunately I made the error of not counting other aspects and traits of it that I would have invoked. I definitely need more of the water element as my fire is far too abundant and outclasses every one of my other elements by too much, but Jupiter is of the fire element as well.

I have a very powerful fire emphasis, trance does not come easy in the slightest, not yet at least. And because of this emphasis on fire relaxation and 'chilling' out takes lots of work and discipline on my part, sometimes calm music won't even help me on certain days. Fire moves rapidly, it by nature cannot stay still and it affects me this way in that relaxing to meditate is not easy on my end yet as all I want to do is move, run or do something with my body; even sitting I'm always moving whether it's RLS or rocking in my seat... like I'm doing as I type this.

I realize now responding to all of these that the issue is not just from my material focus but also from my fire element. This means I'm also going to need to do a working or two with water to balance it out.

I have thought of this and randomly experimented by surrounding myself with ether and meditating on it; it definitely helps me but I've noticed that it only works as a temporary solution and I had been looking for the root of the issue which I now believe is not only the materialistic perspective I have due to my Saturn but also my fire element. I appreciate you clarifying this further though.

100% agree with this.

I did read here somewere if you inhale/absorb ether like with fire element (or any other element) the ether will transform in the element wich you lack, ether contains all elements/or can tansform to any , as far as I remember. (everything is always surrounded by ether, you can look at the Hexagradior pdf if you have it, it explanes much about ether)

https://www.ancient-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12919&p=48018&hilit=ether+transform+element#p48018

"The universe has always existed its a spectrum of sound, light and elements. All matter is crystallization of the vibration of energetic templates and there consciousness as vibration is light is energy is consciousness. The core of this existence is the element of spirit which sound mantra is AUM. All matter is made of four elements and all elements are made of spirit this relates to the reason why the Magnum Opus is possible. Hence matter is polymorphic and can adjust and transform when the underlying template changes in time" Forums Contributor

this is not the text that I did read, but it says the same if I understand right. Hope i could help :D

This makes things a lot clearer. Based on your energetic constitution, you should have no problem with the quality of cold, however dryness is an issue. Saturn and strong fire element definelty leads to dryness.
It has the same effect when trying to meditate during a hot summer day - very hard without any cooling and preparation.

The following might be of help for you:
-Working with Lunar energy: (Its a water element planet and rules the Mind and the abillity to receive, receive impression, information, it makes you sensitive to subtle energies as the ruler of the 6th Chakra as well.)
-Sithali and Sitkari breathing especially Sitkari: It lowers blood pressure and the internal heat, clams the mind. With Sitkari, you can easily draw cooling energy into the upper chakras.
-Jalandhara Bandha (Neck Lock) It can prevent the overabudance of heat energy in the head, it is used widely by people who have issues with pitta dosha (fiery energetic-bodily constitution) You can do this during breath retention, as your breathing to go into trance.
-Secrete the Nectar from the Pineal and rotate the energy: You can turn your fiery constitution into an advanatage: The pineal can secrete the ambrosia very quickly, when heat energy is directed towards it (hence the King and Queen type of meditations)
Rotating the elxir will open you up, and counter the dryness.

Jupiter does have an expansive, fiery side represented by Saggitarius, but on the other hand It’s the planet of the Crown Chakra and has similar energies. Try applying the mantra Shrim if working with Jupiter, (Aum Shrim Guruave Namah) it will be more of the Crown type,of Jupiteran energy.

If none of the above works, please send some of your grounding/fiery energy to me via the energetic stock market. I think we could arrange a good deal

Hey, Ghost. I see your question about how you are looking to become better connected to spiritual aspects. By which I think you are meaning how to open the crown and third eye chakras.

If you want to empower the crown and third eye, focus on empowering the Solar Chakra. This is the breath of life in the sense this chakra rules transforming prana into vital life energy and sending it to the chakra's. The naval (666) chakra is the King of the Gods as it rules the other Gods or chakra's as they all connect to this point. This is the 666 and the ancient capstone.

The solar chakra is the major chakra that is responsible for transforming the soul by the Magnum Opus into the immortal state of the Light Body. It connects you to the flow of life force. This chakra connects to its pair the Moon chakra which is the higher consciousness centers. To empower the solar is to activate the third eye as well.

I don't think there is anything wrong with being too grounded. You need to be grounded. All you are lacking is to open the upper chakras. And that will give you the spiritual part that you feel you are lacking. So, empower the solar. This will open the higher chakras.

Hope this helps :)
