I'm new here, and I have a lot of difficulty concentrating. I do power rituals, but before I know it, I'm thinking about something else instead of concentrating. I've already tried writing down my thoughts and frustrations on paper, and I try to meditate every day, even if just a little. Will that help? I think I might have ADHD.

Practice Dot Meditation: https://templeofzeus.org/Dot_Meditation.php

If necessary go from extremely low (but highly focused) amounts of 3, 5, 10, and 15 seconds, and then build your way up.

The way people with ADHD have to meditate can vary slightly from the norm, but that isn't the same thing as merely sufferring from a bad attention span... so don't confuse the two.

Use awareness meditations to help you.

Empty meditation, along with yoga, pranayama, and even controlled physical exercise, can be beneficial.

There are also fun ways to focus your attention, such as through instrumental sounds (piano, violin, etc.).

This means your energy is scattered. It's recommended to stop scrolling and immerse yourself in creative pursuits that can help with focus in a more enjoyable and peaceful way.

There are some really good YouTube channels with 10, 15, and 20-minute breathing exercises; this is also a huge help. You just have to search and see which one resonates with you in your practice.

Attention is a muscle to be trained, we have the methods for it. Put in the work, and even more importantly, give it time, and use what you have to your best ability instead of dwelling on feeling bad about what you lack right now.

Hi, welcome! Don’t worry: at first, staying focused is a challenge everyone faces. I recommend meditating on emptiness at the end of each meditation session, starting with just one minute and increasing the duration only once you’ve mastered it.
The important thing is to never lose your motivation.
Looking out the window or observing nature also helps a lot. The most important thing is patience: consistency, discipline, and precision.
