Can anyone help me out?

If you want to analyze a relationship do you just compare the natalcharts of the two persons and watch their aspects?

I think aspects with the ruler matter a lot more than some of the other aspects.

I like to compare the sign the ruler is in with the sign of the other persons ruler like sun signs this is how you really use the compatability signs plus any aspects here.

However if something is exact conjunct someones ascendant would that make it the chart ruler even if the main planet ruling the sign on the ascendant is different. I never saw that written about on the ToZ I saw a chart like that once and was trying to figure this out.
