Astral time travel guidelines please

The formula is already imprinted upon my soul and im halfway there but the problem is that i never fully astral projected myself and its alway something trying to stop me.the worse thing is lately due to my own lack of disipline n time due to an final exam my powers deeply regressed.im so frustrated that due to my own lack of disipline i have 2 start 4m scratch!so im askin is anybody could help with this problem.
