Astral Projection vs. remote viewing question

My question is what is the difference in the method of travel between the two? Do you see the distance or part of the distance when you are traveling in one and not the other? If someone has experence in both an experence might be helpful for me to decifer what is going on. I don't need to know where you went or anything personal like that, more I just want to know if you saw the way you were going to where you were going. So verify that I am doing it correctly, and not remote viewing.
