Astral energy and dark matter/energy

Is the energy we use in meditation and witchcraft also called astral energy? And is astral energy the same as dark matter/energy? I watched "Through The Wormwhole", where dark matter/energy was spoken about. Ooh, Mass Effect has dark energy as a weapon, so I'm playing as a biotic. ME2 must come now.

Not quite. I think we can control multiple types of energy, not just dark, but I have no idea what we exactly use. I know it's just energy.
