Hello. I have Asperger's syndrome, and I was wondering, is it really a disability? Will meditation get rid of it, even if I don't want it to? It's who I am, and if I get rid of it, I don't know what kind of person I would be. This thought of me having it being a bad thing is actually creating a lot of internal conflict and is causing me a LOT of stress. Is it really bad to feel comfort in knowing I'm on the autism spectrum?

Don't worry about it. If you proceed in meditation you may eventually reach spiritual and psysichal perfection. This will change all
of us to the better. None of us is finished yet. If your Asperger is to be considered something that makes you less perfect according to how the Creation has been done, or whatever, then yes, I guess it will go away. But individuality is also a Foundation stone is satanism. People with aspergers often have a special gift or talent which makes them incredibly valuable in that area. I don't Think the evolvement in meditation will take away such a thing, rather enhance it even more if anything. Either way, you will be fine. Anxiety, stress and fears will be dealt with naturally in meditation. It comes up to the Surface, you get it out of you, and then it's gone.

Hi the answer for your question is no meditation won't get rid of your Asperger's, it is something you are born with and it is life long condition, I have autism which is further on the spectrum I have mid function autism which means I am less able than Asperger's or high function autism but more able than low function autism, so I understand where your questions come from so here is my answers for you through experience. No meditation won't get rid of it.Yes some people class it as a disability, but if you don't want to think of it as a disability you don't have to.No it isn't bad that you feel comfort in knowing it is on the spectrum, if you know your on the spectrum it could be relief to know they is some help for those on it.I understand about all questions causing stress because it plays in your head all the time until there are answers.I have that stress everyday. If you need anyone to chat to about it or you need answers of more to do with Asperger's or just need a little support I am here.I know it can sometimes be a lonely world but you're not alone, there are loads of people with Asperger's and autism so  if you need anyone to chat to wether it's for answers or support, you can chat to me because I understand.Katie

Thank you all for your answers. I feel much better now, knowing I'll always be myself. And Katie, I might take you up on your offer :)

Hello,

In general have a lot of precaution against any psychotic drug .

HAIL FATHER ENKI!

I totally disagree with Katie by the way, I've had Asperger's my whole life and I **KNOW** through the powers of the mind and soul autism CAN be cured. I think even the High Priests and Priestesses will agree with me, when one reaches the magnum opus you reach physical and spiritual perfection, meaning all illness will be cured. You become a God. Perfect.
As for living with Asperger's my whole life, I envy those who see it as a gift, I also envy those who actually enjoy having it, because personally, I hate it. It has destroyed my life to an incredible degree. It has made my life a living pain in the ass... but due to meditations and positive affirmations the Asperger's has lessened to where it use to be in the past. In the past, it was bad... really bad, but it can be cured. Any disease, illness, or flaw can. If one has the power and knowledge to do so.

Please abstain from taking Risperedol, it's what f up my heart. And can do many other horrible things. Seriously, when I took it, it made my heart act irregularly, and it beated at times very rapidly, and to the point of total exhaustion. This was three years ago, and I have been paying for it ever since.

Hi, I don't want to sound like I mean this nasty because I don't but I know often people who don't fully know me can take what I say as nasty.
I hear what your saying about power of mind and having Asperger's which is on the....the....dam it what that word (beginning with S in ASD)I really do but iv lived my whole life with autism which is further on I am mid way on it but that doesn't mean I don't understand the struggles so I admit they have been times when I've gotten so angry with having it because I have a lot of limitations and none abilities with a lot of stuff with having autism and I have tryed EVERYTHING to get rid it but I haven't been successful with it so I just learn how to see a more positive side with it. With out positivity how can someone move forward in life.
So in my opinion it can't be cured but with a lot of help and support it could be made a bit easier to live with.
That's why if anyone has Asperger's or autism or something like that I want them to know I am here for them, I have the past of a lot of pain and struggle with it and I still have some days when it's like that but I have support so it is slightly less harder and a bit easier to live with.So personally through 19 years of having to live with it and a lot of doctors and counsellors and physicologist (for diagnosis and hard past that still often affects me now...not as bad thanks to there help) telling me no matter what I do it can't be cured I've just got to work extra hard to try and learn to do everyday stuff(which some stuff I have I just got a lot more rules with doing it....and quite often needing someone there while I do it).So I disagree with you but everyone has there own opinion. But I am always here for anyone who needs support or where possible advice with autism or Asperger's or anything like that.
Everyone is different but as I say being beautiful isn't different being different is beautiful.
Katie

Meditation will not remove mental capcbilities, enhanced perception, motivation, or other gifts. Meditation will purify you of dross and allow you to achieve abilities and exeprience happiness. Meditation will allow you to:

1. advance yourself
2. take control of your life
3. make wonderful things happen
4. have more fun than you ever thought possible
5. satisfy your every need and want
6. have the best sex of your life
7. prevent or at least ease bad things from happening
8. truly know yourself, and discover your skills and talents from past lives and apply them to this life
9. and many more....
