okay so this could go either way then?
or
is it possible that some meditation positions are for advanced people more or less?
although thanks for the info i will keep this in mind and try it next time.
also another interesting thing i wonder is that is will lying in bathwater (not too high up of water of course as drown=bad lolz) while meditating if i figure out how to do that will that reduce itching?
i ask because as some of you are aware on of my previous meditation questions/messages i posted in the group here concerned the question of uncontrolable itching that happened while i tried to meditate.
so i am also asking (in addition to the previous question of course) will this also reduce itching if enough of my body is covered in water in the tub???one of my replies to the itching post btw said something on the itching issue. said something about demons i think and enery or something like that i think.

here is a link to that message
has anyone else here tried this method and if so would you say it turned out to work rather well or no???
think of this part of my reply as saying tell me more as well as answer this question also
thanks a bunch

As long as your back is straight you can meditate in any position comfortable to you. Just a warning though when laying down you will be more likely to fall asleep during your session, so it is best to try to get used to sitting up to meditate.

sense as many of you i have already mentioned to most of you know that i like to meditate during the evenings and i use the bathroom where i live for it. yeah i know incense and candles are not needed but they sure are awesome.
anyway
what i was wondering are the following questions
can you meditate lying down?
and if so does it accomplish just as much as if you were sitting in any way, shape, or form?
